Lead Clinical Assistant

Why did you choose dentistry?

I fell in love with orthodontics because of my orthodontist. Their office was state of the art and everyone was so kind. I looked forward to going to my appointments and always thought it was such a cool and rewarding job. I went into banking after school and quickly knew it was not the job for me, so went back to college to get a dental degree. I have worked in orthodontics for over 14 years as of 2023.

What is the best part of your job?

I love seeing the changes in patients with their increased confidence as their smiles transform. I love getting to know the entire family and watching little siblings grow up to become patients.

What do you do outside of the office?

Travel, Clemson football, concerts, spend time with my boyfriend Justin, love on puppies/doggies, spend days at the lake.

What is one item on your bucket list?

I want to travel to more of the world, Thailand & Vietnam are next on my bucket list.

What is one thing our patients love about you?

Patient love how gentle and nurturing I am.

Jennifer

Patient Care Coordinator

Why did you choose patient care coordinating?

I like to think that patient care coordinating chose me. I truly love creating and contributing to the patient experience. My top priority is providing each patient with the highest quality care in a friendly, comfortable environment.

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is being the best part of the patients’ day. No one truly knows what anyone is going through behind closed doors, but if I can put a smile on a patient’s face and make their day a little bit lighter, my day is made.

What do you do outside of the office?

When I am not with my work family, I love to travel, spend time with my family and friends, and explore new areas and appreciate their culinary scenes.

What is one item on your bucket list?

One item on my bucket list is to travel to Scotland. It would be a dream come true!

What is one thing our patients love about you?

I think patients love my positive energy and my can-do attitude. I am always willing to go above and beyond for our amazing patients!

Lead Clinical Assistant, Treatment Coordinator

Why did you choose dentistry?

I found it by happy accident, after graduating college with a degree in art it was a perfect fit for my personality and artistic skills.

What is the best part of your job?

Being a part of our patients’ journey to an amazing smile and the confidence that it brings. I love getting to know patients and their families.

What do you do outside of the office?

I hang out with my husband and son, watch my son in sports, and I enjoy all that Greenville and the upstate have to offer. I love traveling. I consider myself and artist and I love painting, crafting, and creating art as well as visiting galleries

What is one item on your bucket list?

I want to visit Scandinavia and see the Northern Lights.

What is one thing our patient’s love about you?

I am patient and funny.

Treatment Coordinator

Why did you choose orthodontics?

I have been in orthodontics for 5 years as a treatment coordinator (as of 2023) and I am excited for the years to come. I love the daily interactions with our patients and making their visits the best experience possible. What amazes me about orthodontics is that it’s not only for a certain age; it’s for all ages.

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my job is being a part of our patient’s smile journey from start to finish. I also love the day patients begin treatment – their excitement brings a smile to my face.

What do you do outside of the office?

I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with our family, and serving at our church.

What is one item on your bucket list?

I want to take a scenic train trip across the United States to visit some of America’s best wonders.

What is one thing our patients love about you?

My ability to thoroughly explain treatment plans to both our adult and pediatric patients and to be their support system through the entire process.
